q: How Can I Smudge-Proof My Makeup Products At Home?
One of our go-to makeup hacks is to set your face before applying your base. Primers are important as they add a tacky layer for your makeup to stick onto.
That being said, setting your face with a loose powder before applying your foundation will not only give you a little extra coverage but will help your foundation sit on a smooth and pigmented surface already.
If you’re using cream products on top of your foundation, remember to only set with powders after you’ve applied all of your cream products!
Another tip for long-wearing blush and contour is to set your creams with powder. If you’re wearing a liquid blush, set it with a powder blush. If you’re using a cream contour, set it with a powder contour or bronzer. This will allow the cream underneath to hold itself longer under your mask.
