Cold, cozy nights, warm blankets and hot chocolate…does it get any better than that? I celebrated the first day of my favorite month perusing my favorite stores for cozy products. So, in honor of this wondrous knit-focused time of year, I’ve looked to a few of my favorite style stars for inspiration. Nothing says fall to me quite like sweaters and a cable knit to wrap up in topped my list. Bella Hadid’s cropped version is just perfect. I love how it skims the top of her skinny jeans and can show off a stylish belt, like this Gucci one.
As the weather starts to transition, take a cue from Selena Gomez. Rely on cozy-cool cardigans for the perfect layered look. From long to short and everything in between, these are the cardigans your closet needs. If you want to go the chic route, wear yours cinched at the waist with a cool belt. You’re never fully dressed without a smile…and a fabulous pair of shoes and this fall’s line-up doesn’t disappoint. To round out my cozy, cozy favorites, I looked for warm, cognac-colored leather and found it in this pair of Sam Edelman riding boots. Rich nubuck leathers, classic prints, retro shapes, and bold prints are where it’s at. Take a velvet slipper shoe out for a spin, it’s the latest evolution of the flat and how cute is this pair? Go retro with a Chloe platform sandal, specifically designed for flares and maxis. Pointy toe pumps and the loafer slide make your 9-to-5 more fun, while sexy nubuck booties and distressed booties are best for after-hours adventures.
How to Easily Add a Pop of Color:
All this white and brown needed a dash of color, so I found a deep plum nail color that I love. With just a hint of sparkle, it’s the perfect complement to this season’s deep shades of orange, gold, and crimson.
