The Shealing boot has been on my radar for years, a now cult-like item all the rage Down Under and the world over. But the shearling trim coat was around first, making a comeback as a classic gone trend. Made from fuzzy lamb or sheepskin, shearling has a cozy feel unmatched by traditional wool. Usually backed with suede or leather, shearling pieces have an all-around luxurious feel. This season shearling has been cropping up on coats. Get your hands on a moto-inspired leather jacket with a shearling collar or a prim tailored Burberry peacoat with wide shearling lapels. Traditional fur is also back, with both Marc Jacobs parkas and Vanessa Bruno tweeds trimmed up in fur collars and hoods.
