Trending: Statement Rings
It’s all about making a statement this season, with your platform shoes, your fringy shoulder bag, your bold hair accessories and, of course, with your jewelry. Let’s focus on rings, which have been seen gracing all the fingers of all the hands of celebs out there. Mischa Barton and Mary Kate Olsen layer them two and three to a finger, five or six to a hand. While you can layer on several, one or two large statement rings do the trick as well. Pick one that says something about your style and then wear it as your signature all season long. Here are a few of my favorite ring trends:
1. Kenneth Jay Lane Agate Oval Ring ($66)
Ring trend number one is boho. No big surprises here, it’s all about going bold, gold, and nature-inspired. This oval ring features a hammered bezel setting and a stunning agate stone that complements everything in your closet.
2. ASOS Double Finger Metal Feather Ring ($14)
The biggest and newest trend for the season is the double finger ring. Twice the size, twice the fun, these rings are usually made for your ring and middle finger. This ASOS ring also features this season’s favorite embellishment: the feather. So much trend packed into one piece!
3. Low Luv x Erin Wasson Rough Crystal Ring ($160)
Go raw and natural, something straight from the earth and, if you can get it, rough around the edges. This Low Luv ring satisfies all the criteria with its rough crystal and antiqued gold finish.
4. Kora Horn Fusion Ring ($187)
Trend number four? Geometric solids. This Kora ring is crafted from polished horn, so each one has its own special hue. A large rectangular face and triangular sides shape up nicely with the rest of your ring collection.
5. Ariella Collection Wide Band Ring ($42)
Seamless, elegant, modern. Keep this ring in the family; it will wear for years to come with its futuristic styling and smooth rose gold finish.
6. The House of Harlow 1960 Cluster Ring ($55)
Multi-media composition, our last ring trend, is all about mixing up textures and colors, much like the boho trend. Nicole Richie mixes leather and suede, Czech stones and crystals to form this House of Harlow creation. All its rich colors (red, blue, black, and gold) ensure that this cocktail ring can go to any party you choose.
