Jeans are one of the most versatile and fundamental pieces to any wardrobe. So, on your quest for denim this fall, remember what has worked for you in the past, but don’t be afraid to try something different. Die-hard skinny jeans devotees should shake things up in their wardrobes (change is good, after all) and try their hand at the season’s chicest flares. A flatteringly tight fit from the waist to the knee can have the same slimming effect, and comes with bonus leg-elongating and waist-whittling effects to boot. Long-legged ladies like model Karlie Kloss, on the other hand, can find denim salvation with 40-inch-inseam jeans (yes they exist!), like those by Frame Denim.
Another trend the celebrities can’t get enough of is the split-seam jeans, and this includes both flared and skinny styles. Lyst, the global fashion search engine, says this trend is being led by 3×1 (I found a great pair on SALE HERE) and GRLFRND, and 7 for All Mankind is the best seller. Selena Gomez took this trend on step further and chose THIS pair with front seams set off into a slit at the released hem to reveal an extra flash of ankle.
Fashion Forecast: This Fall plan on seeing the celebrities stepping out in denim-on-denim trend, think the Canadian tuxedo, but with a twist….fun colors and matching sets. Haliey Baldwin has been slowly easing us into the trend and fast-fashion brands have been churning out denim sets of all kinds, each varying in color and style. I can’t even count how many celebrities I have seen in the last two months wearing THIS style denim shorts.
