Outfit Ideas for Valentine’s Day
Hi guys! I don’t know about you, but the next big thing on my radar is my Valentine’s Day outfit. Since the day can be busy enough on its own, I typically try to figure out my outfit in advance to help avoid any unnecessary last-minute stress! There’s typically two moods I choose from when it comes to Valentine’s Day: fun, casual and flirty or sultry and sexy and it always includes a pop of red or pink. So, no matter which is your favorite, I’ve styled some great outfit ideas for you for this Valentine’s Day!
Maybe you have a romantic lunch date with your significant other and find that you’re looking for something sweet and feminine to wear. I would opt for something cute like my favorite blush pink sweaters (this one laces up!) or this light floral dress. Both can be paired with heels or flats, which gives you the option to dress them up or down depending on your style.
Worried about skipping the heels but not being able to find flats special enough for the romantic day? Choose these red velvet ballet shoes that guarantee an impactful entrance thanks to their lace-up ties and brilliant red. Not only are they in theme, but your feet will be thanking you at the end of the day!
Want to make jeans and a t-shirt, V-Day appropriate? Add a cardigan with embellishments, like my red tassel one. Pair your outfit with some delicate jewelry like these drape heart earrings or this equally beautiful pavé heart necklace from Adina Reyter (Hurry! It’s almost sold out). Valentine’s Day is the perfect occasion to show off any fun accessories you haven’t had a place to wear yet!
Do you have a hot date later in the evening? Whether it’s at a fine restaurant or your favorite Mexican place, you’ve got a lot of options to choose from. Going a more classic route, I’d select a gorgeous dress to wow the whole restaurant. Maybe choose something like this chic black cut out dress, SO SEXY! Or this romantic off the shoulder dress that just found it’s way into my shopping cart, for a night that sparkles! Want to stand out from the rest? Be subtly sexy in a sleek jumpsuit (another favorite look of mine!) by styling this tiered chiffon look with some killer heels. Now, if your venue is a little more casual than the rest, I’d mix things up by combining a sexy velvet blazer with jeans or black trousers. Why not have fun with fashion on a night like Valentine’s Day?
Don’t forget to give your loved ones some big kisses (and hugs) on Valentine’s Day! Have a great week, everyone!
