Favorite Fall Picks
In the deep of autumn, we’ve chosen our very favorite pieces of the season. Not only working for November, these pieces will work well into winter and beyond. Our favorite pop color? Orange, as in pumpkins and citrus, perfect as an overcoat or jacket. Our favorite way to make a statement? Texture, as in fur and feathers, chain and knits. Our favorite piece to cozy up in? The classic cardigan done up in every length, fit and fabrication. And finally, our favorite footwear. Our props go to the modern combat boot and the always saavy pointy-toed heel.
1. Rodarte Knit Crew Neck Sweater ($2990)
A twist on the chunky knit, this crew neck stole our votes with its amazing ruffle knit. Cozy, comfortable, and almost a work of art, this sweater pairs easily with your favorite skinnies. Its pale blue color qualifies as a neutral, and works back to black, indigo denim, even colored jeans.
2. Esquivel Wars Tall Boot ($1035)
Reporting for duty, these combat boots exemplify street chic. Lace-up boots work well over leggings or skinnies, but our favorite way to wear them is peeking out from under a maxi skirt or dress. Round toe with zipper back closure and a short stacked heel.
3. Burberry London Short Coat ($1795)
Cropped and fabulous, this bright orange coat is an easy way to layer autumn’s hottest hue into your wardrobe. Pair this funnel neck over anything for a burst of fall-inspired color. Button front with three-quarter sleeves.
4. Barbara Bui Feather and Chain Dress ($3454)
Totally textural. This fall’s statement-making texture trend is all about feel, visual appeal, and depth, and that’s why this dress takes the cake. Ostrich feathers and tiny silver chain come together to form Barbara Bui’s mini dress, an ultra worthy fall favorite.
5. Givenchy Satin Runway Heel ($790)
Runway ready. These heels are a hybrid of class and edge with their always-classic pointy toe and fashion-forward metal details. Satin heels with gold-tone stud toe, gold-tone wire strap, and satin-wrapped heel.
6. Alexander Wang Draped Wrap Cardigan ($525)
Our favorite piece to cozy up in, this Alexander Wang creates a cardigan that’s as comfortable as it is stylish. A cross wrap front is a fresh departure from stand-by buttons, and its gorgeous draping is both feminine and visually appealing. Finished with a side button closure and layered cuffs.
