How Celebrities Decorate Their Thanksgiving Tables
(Jessica Simpson obviously enjoys her holiday food in style. This elegantly embellished table setting was created by Casa de Perrin, a luxury Los Angeles-based design brand.)
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I love the time spent with family and all the yummy food. I also love all the fun decorations! From leaves to pumpkins to turkeys, there is something so comforting about the colors and meaning behind it all. I like to start decorating for Thanksgiving at the start of November. I want to be able to enjoy all of the decor for as long as possible!
No need to consult with Martha Stewart: Just ask anyone responsible for arranging the stunning celebrity Thanksgiving table settings, like Joanna Gaines, Jessica Simpson and Reese Witherspoon‘s, and they’ll assure you that openly admiring the table décor is basically a commandment of being the best Thanksgiving guest ever.
Don’t get us wrong: The star of Thanksgiving Day is absolutely the scrumptious spread of food. But the holiday host will be the one to assure you that the table upon which those delectable dishes lay in wait for us to gobble ravenously is equally important. Fine, maybe saying the food and table décor is of equal importance is a bit of stretch. But these 11 tables have us eagerly looking forward to plenty of good food, company, and gratitude.

Wreath
Greet your guests with a beautiful Thanksgiving-inspired wreath. Find one with colorful leaves, a cute turkey or even a “thankful” message. You could even make your own using fake leaves, ribbon or burlap. For an added touch, use a permanent marker to write one thing you are thankful for on each leaf.
Table Centerpiece
An easy way to decorate for Thanksgiving is to create a table centerpiece. Your table is your focal point — it’s the place where you will gather around to enjoy your meal, so make it warm and inviting. You could make your own centerpiece using pumpkins, gourds and candles or you could buy one if you aren’t the crafty-type
Pumpkins, Gourds or Squash
Pumpkins, gourds and squash are an easy and inexpensive way to decorate your home for Thanksgiving. You could use fake ones that will last for years to come, or you could shop for real ones at your local farm. Look for unique, colorful ones that will create fun decor.
Candles
White pillar candles are timeless and will look great with any Thanksgiving decor. Arrange them with your table centerpiece or place them on your front entry way table or fireplace ledge. Add pretty leaves or berry branches around them for a festive flair.
Doormat
It’s fun to change your doormat to match the season. There are several different themes you could go with for Thanksgiving — leaves, a cute turkey or a thankful word or message.
