Stylish Collaborations: Splendid X Damsel
This Holiday season, one of my favorite brands, Splendid, partners with one of my favorite Fashion & Lifestyle bloggers, Jacey Duprie of Damsel in Dior (also known as “Damsel”) to create a six-piece offering, aptly titled ‘SPLENDID X DAMSEL: The Cotton Collection’. The capsule collection is inspired by Damsel’s upbringing as a cotton farmer’s daughter and combines the softness and quality for which Splendid is known. A palette of neutrals mixed with a hint of classic navy and white stripes make for a holiday must-have this season.
The entire ‘SPLENDID X DAMSEL‘: The Cotton Collection’ is 100% cotton and features a variety of casual and relaxed pieces, including a mix of T-shirts made from a special slub cotton, deliberately containing slight imperfections to produce a unique, worn-out, textured effect. The cotton voile shirting is lightweight and airy, perfect for layering. The most coveted piece of the collection is the holiday dress, made of a washed down cotton poplin which feels cool and crisp against the skin.
